Hario is a Japanese manufacturer of heat-resistant glass founded in 1921, with the only factory of its kind in Japan. Initially, it produced chemical products, but after World War II it began to produce coffee siphons and enter the household goods industry using its expertise in heat-resistant glass and chemical products. Today, it offers a wide range of products including coffee-related utensils, tea-related utensils, kitchenware such as microwave cooking utensils, aromatherapy, and pet supplies. It has also entered the automotive lighting lens industry as an industrial glass manufacturer since the 1980s. Its motto is "Shinzen Mikara" and it aims to provide dream products even in the 21st century.
